Are you looking for support for a young person?
•Do you know a young person who is struggling and needs support?
•Do you need your own support as you support a young person who is struggling?
•Does your person have trouble finding people and or places who get them?
•Do you need support wading through the educational processes required to make sure your child's needs are getting met at school?
•Are you interested in learning how to help your children deal with their emotions and behaviors?
I am honored to have worked with young people for more than thirty years assisting in building skills for dealing with a variety of emotional and developmental issues, while at the same time supporting families.
I also have a unique understanding of special education from both inside the system (former Special Education Social Worker) and as a parent of a student with a neurodifferent brain.
My specific areas of expertise include issues related to anxiety, depression, divorce, death and dying, ADD/ADHD, Autism, trauma, attachment issues, school and learning issues, behavior and social skills. I’ve worked with children of all ages—toddlers through teens. No matter the age of the child, however, I believe it is important to build a team with the entire family unit in order to bring about positive change.
